On this course you will
- develop your permaculture skills and understanding
- have a good overview of what permaculture is and how it is being used
- produce and implement a site design (e.g. for a house, garden, farm, woodland, park)
- be able to apply permaculture to your own situation eg be able to use fewer non-renewable resources
- recognise and develop your own skills
- work collaboratively, share ideas and know how to contribute to the wider community
- be inspired and visit great projects across Leeds and nearby
- have fun!
Venues: Evening sessions online. Day sessions at
projects around Leeds (Venues to be confirmed).
The Leeds PDC has been running for 15+ years. The
teachers are all accomplished permaculture designers and
educators with varied interests in and around the city.
This course is a hybrid between meeting in person for
teaching and project visits and online evening sessions
which builds on our experience over the last year and
creates something very accessible and effective.
Main venue: Hollybush Farm, Broad Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3BP
The date pattern is Saturdays and Tuesdays:
- Saturday 17th September 2022 - Saturday 20th May 2023 (all day - in person). (The 3rd Saturday of each month except December). (Sept 17, Oct 15, Nov 19, Jan21, Feb 17, Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20)
- Tuesday 20th September (2hr Online session), (and Tuesdays Oct 4, 18, Nov 1, 15, Mar 7, Apr 4, May 2). (Note, there are no online sessions in Dec, Jan or Feb)
Cost: £895 (income over £30k) /£595 (£15k-30k) / £395 (under £15k)
