Local Permaculture Projects
An open-access garden demonstrating how forest gardening
can be a viable alternative to our food system. It
serves the local communities of Woodhouse and Hyde Park,
and all who happen to visit.
A volunteer run community project that lends picking and
processing equipment to groups to make juice from their
excess apples. We also press and make use of surplus
fruit donated by people, which would otherwise go to
waste.
Feed Leeds is a network of individuals and organisations
working in partnership to support local food growing
Setting up a community supported agriculture scheme that
employs a worker and sells veg boxes to local residents
and shops to cover costs
Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a working farm in Leeds,
open for the public to visit our animals, gardens, and
flourishing woodland
A co-housing community of 20 eco-build households in
West Leeds
Every month people who work in the environmental field
meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks
Leeds for Change is an online platform that helps its
users find venues, events, information, groups and
people in Leeds who work towards shared values of
solidarity, equality and justice
LPN are keen to support new permaculture projects in Leeds. In the past we have helped with such things as bank facilities, policies (handy for grant applications) and insurance.
If you would like support for your project please get in touch to discuss it.
